This piece is a collaboration between producer and percussionist Karl Snyder and vocalist Meghan Riley. Back in the day, they were in a band called K-Pet together. Karl practically lived in a dungeon-- a basement recording studio-- only surfacing to the upstairs porch for smoke breaks and soup slurps. And it was during one of these smoke breaks that Meghan took some time in the dungeon to record a little song/ a prayer of sorts that she'd been singing on walks alone and while taking city transit - singing very quietly of course under breath.

Once recorded, it was up to Karl to pick up the bait.

He performed a careful surgery to the vocals, slicing and rearranging. He composed the musical support to the A Capella, and created new "Show me a Face."

Now Karl is playing music with his brother and sister in their family band Kidstreet, based out of Waterloo, Ontario.

And Meghan is singing and making music with the vocal trio - Fruiting Bodies and other great Montreal Folks.
